we had a quiet little Christmas, just the two of us, which ended up being simply and sweetly perfect. i'm not exactly in the greatest condition to travel (almost 8 months now) and considering this is the last Christmas we'll ever have with no kids, we thought we'd take advantage of this special time to enjoy things like sleeping in on Christmas morning! hope you enjoy the pics.
we have a pretty good collection of cute Disney ornaments, thanks to Sam. couple of my faves:
some other Christmas loveliness around the house.
a big thank you to everyone who sent us Christmas cards, we loved them.
Christmas Eve dinner: orange-pineapple glazed pork chops, festive green beans and cherry tomatoes and baked potato. and for dessert: German chocolate cake with homemade frosting.
gingerbread houses, so much fun. if only you could hear all the Christmas music in the background. i played it non-stop all day.
except mine caved in the next morning.
house decorations from the outside. i love how our tree is visible in our front window!! we get a real tree every year. this time around we tried out a Noble Fir. love it compared to the Douglas.
and last, but not least, we were sure not to forget about baby.

How fun, Tatum!! Ian and I, on a spontaneous whim, decided to drive to Utah for Christmas. We thought about it Friday (Christmas Eve) at noon, and then at two after a quick packing and cleaning house, got on the freeway. So we would have joined your gingerbread house fun (since mine collapsed), but were too far away. I can't wait for baby to come!!
haha, well as you can see from the pics, mine totally collapsed too! i thought of you, LOL! hope you had a wonderful Christmas. miss you.
so adorable! Love the house decorations and especially the ultrasound picture! That is so fun. I love Christmas time! It's the best part of the year. Your house was so fun even though it caved in! Miss you tons!
I love you guys! I'm glad you guys had a great Christmas, just the two of you.
